By this petition the Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 501/2007under Section326 IPG registered at PS Kotla Mubarakpur,New Delhi on thecomplaint of Respondent No.2.
The RespondentNo. 2 andher minordaughterwere injuredin the saidincident. RespondentNo.2 who is presentin Court and is identifiedby theInvestigatingOfficer states that she wants to settle the matter on her behalfand on behalf of her daughter. She states that since the Petitioner is also ayoung girl living in the neighbourhood she does not want to continue withthe abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved theirdifferences of their own free will, volition and without any coercion and nouseful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, rather thesame would create furtheracrimony between them, it would be in theinterest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedingspursuant thereto.There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR inquestion.
Consequently, FIR No. 501/2007 under Section 326 IPG registered atPS Kotla Mubarakpur, New Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto arehereby quashed.
