The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with FIR

No.976/2015 (P.S. Amar Colony) instituted for offences under Sections 323,341, 308 & 34 of the IPC.

The petitioner is said to have slapped the informant. Thereafter

another co-accused by the name of Deepak Batra assaulted the victim bymeans of beer bottle. The further allegation is that both, the petitioner andDeepak Batra, hit the injured/informant on his head by means of brick andstone.The injured victim had to be hospitalised in Vimhans, when aftertreatment, he was discharged.

Learned counsel appearing for the State has submitted that the prayerof anticipatory bail of Deepak Batra, co-accused, has been rejected by thisCourt.

This Court finds no merit in the present application.

The bail application is dismissed with the liberty to the petitioner toapproach the court below for seeking regular bail in accordance with law.The court below shall consider the case of the petitioner without beingprejudiced by the fact that his anticipatory bail application has been rejected.
