The petitioner is the President of an NGO, run under the name andstyle of Sarvodhya Mahila Jan Kalyan Samiti.The aforesaid NGO is aregistered organisation.

It has been alleged that the petitioner along with others had visited theconstruction site of the complainant and had asked the persons present thereto stop construction or serious action would follow.

Ms.Madhu Bakshi, the complainant, has alleged that they werethreatened of dire consequences and the petitioner also called up on number100, when police arrived at the spot and threatened the complainant and herassociates.

The petitioner was granted interim protection by this Court on15.09.2015.

The petitioner, as directed, has joined the investigation and there is an

assurance on her behalf that she would keep on participating in theinvestigation.

Considering the nature of accusation and conduct of the petitioner in

participating in the investigating process, this Court is inclined to confirmthe interim protection which has been granted to the petitioner.

Let the petitioner be released on bail, in the event of her arrest, on herfurnishing bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the likeamount to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/SHO of the concernedpolice station.

The application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
