1.Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of theConstitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing ofFIR No.143/2015 registered under Sections 354/34 IPC at PSBarakhamba Road, New Delhi. It is stated that the matter has beensettled amicably with the complainant / respondent No.2 vide MOUdated 06.04.2016.
2.Complainant / respondent No.2 is present with her counsel andhas been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired fromthe complainant if she has settled the dispute with the petitionersW.P.(CRL) 1795/2016page 1 of 2
amicably without any fear or pressure. She has informed that all thedisputes between the parties have been resolved amicably with herfree consent and she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR inquestion.
3.The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy ofMOU dated 06.04.2016 has been placed on record. Since the disputebetween the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be servedto continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and toenable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.143/2015registered under Sections 354/34 IPC at PS Barakhamba Road, NewDelhi and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.
4.The petitioners are directed to deposit ` 15,000/- as costs in thePrime Minister Relief Fund within two weeks. Registry shall ensureits compliance.
5.The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
