This is petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.625/2012, under Section 379 IPC read with Sections 135/150 of ElectricityAct, registered at Police Station-Jamia Nagar and all proceedings emanatingtherefrom.

Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners havesettled the matter amicably with BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd./respondentNo.2 and the petitioners have already deposited the bill amount ofRs.20,141/-. He has further submitted that the payment was of civil liabilityand it has nothing to do with criminal liability and submits that the presentFIR No. 625/2012, under Section 379 IPC read with Sections 135/150 of

Electricity Act, registered at Police Station-Jamia Nagar be quashed.

Counsel for respondent No.2 has admitted that the matter has beencompromised and the payment of the bill amount has been deposited by thepetitioners and he has no objection if the present FIR in question is quashedagainst the petitioners.

Looking into the above facts and circumstances, since the matter issettledbetweenthepetitionersandtheBSESRajdhaniPowerLtd./respondent No.2 and the bill amount has already been deposited, in theinterest of justice, FIR No. 625/2012, under Section 379 IPC read withSections 135/150 of Electricity Act, registered at Police Station-Jamia Nagarand all proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The present petition is disposed of accordingly.
