1.Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. forquashing of FIR No.268/2009 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPCat PS Aman Vihar. It is stated that the matter has been settledamicably with the complainant / respondent No.2 before theMediation Centre, Rohini, Delhi vide settlement agreementdated 01.12.2009.quashing of FIR No.268/2009 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPCat PS Aman Vihar. 2.Complainant / respondent No.2 is present with her counsel andhas been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquiredfrom the complainant if she has settled the dispute with thehas been identified by the Investigating Officer. petitioners amicably without any fear or pressure. She hasinformed that all the disputes between the parties have beenresolved amicably with her free consent and she has noobjection to the quashing of the FIR in question.
The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy ofsettlement agreement dated 01.12.2009 has been placed onrecord. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled,no useful purpose will be served to continue with theproceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the partiesto put an end to the litigation, FIR No.268/2009 under Sections498A/406/34 IPC at PS Aman Vihar and all the proceedingsarising therefrom are quashed.settlement agreement dated 01.12.2009 has been placed onrecord. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled,no useful purpose will be served to continue with theproceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the partiesto put an end to the litigation, FIR No.268/2009 under Sections498A/406/34 IPC at PS Aman Vihar and all the proceedingsarising therefrom are quashed.
