from ACP Kailash Chand, Crime Branch, states that an FIR shall be registered into the incident dated 12.06.2008 which resulted in the death of Sh. Nirmal Singh, within period of one week from today and that the investigation shall be carried out expeditiously in accordance with law under the supervision of the DCP, Crime Branch.

Ordered accordingly.

In view of the foregoing, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner-

Ms. Kiran Bala, the widow of the deceased Nirmal Singh, seeks leave to withdraw this petition at this stage.

Leave granted.

With the above direction the writ petition is disposed of.
