Petitioner seeks parole on the ground of filing the Special LeavePetition in the Supreme Court after engaging private counsel of his choice.Petitioner has suffered incarceration for more than four years.Petitionerwas acquitted by the trial court. State preferred an appeal, which has beenallowed and petitioner has been convicted under Section 302 IPC andSections 25/27 of the Arms Act, 1959 vide judgment dated 17[th]December,2014.Petitioner intends to prefer Special Leave Petition against thisjudgment.It is trite to say that every convict is entitled to avail all the legalremedies as may be available to him/her upto the highest forum by engaging
counsel of his/her choice. Address of the petitioner has been verified bythe State.Accordingly, it is ordered that petitioner be released on parole fora period of one month from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing apersonal bond in the sum of `20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only)with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the jailsuperintendent. During the parole, petitioner shall stay at the address givenin the petition and verified by the State. Petitioner shall also appear beforethe SHO, Police Station Karawal Nagar once week at 10:00 am, that is, onMondays.On completion of parole period, petitioner shall surrender beforethe Superintendent Jail.
Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.Copy of the order besent to the Jail Superintendent for serving it upon the petitioner and forcompliance.
