By the petition, the petitioner sought directions to therespondent no.1/NDMC to remove the encroachment and illegalconstruction including two rooms and two steel gates at differentplaces of Central Market, Ward-C-68, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. Inthe status report dated 08.09.2017, in para 3, it is stated, as follows:

“3.That an encroachment removal program was fixed on15.05.17, but the action could not be taken due to nonavailability of police force. Another program was fixed on05.06.17 and during the action, following encroachment wereremoved/demolished with the help of local police:15.05.17, but the action could not be taken due to nonavailability of police force. i.Room of size 8.15 x 3.90 m occupied by AshokVihar Trader Association.Vihar Trader Association.

ii.Two steel gates made of M.S. angles structurenear main entrance & near Chabra Sweets. Thephotographsofthedemolitionactionareannexed herewith as Annexure-“A” (Colly).”

In view of the abovesaid action taken, ld. counsel for thepetitioner submits that nothing further survives in the petition.Petition is disposed off accordingly.
