It is submitted that petitioner nos.2 to 4 are the relatives of petitionerno.1. On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR No.183/2013 under Sections354A/323/34 IPC was registered at police station Kanjhawala against thepetitioners.Respondent no.2 had also lodged the FIR No.69/2014 underSections 498A/406/34 IPC at Crime Against Women Cell, Nanak Puraagainst the petitioners.Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled
their disputes amicably before the Counselling Cell, Family Court, Rohini,New Delhi on 16[th]January, 2015.Pursuant to the settlement, marriagebetween petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved bythe decree of divorce dated 31[st]May, 2016 passed by Family Court, NorthWest District, Rohini, Delhi.It is prayed that FIR may be quashed.Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and admitshaving settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will andwithout any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that shehas no objection in case the present FIR is quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between petitioner no.1 andrespondent no.2 and that respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIRany further, in the interest of justice, FIR No.183/2013 under Sections354A/323/34 IPC registered at police station Kanjhawala is quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
