Petitioner no. 3 is stated to have died. Petitioner nos. 2 to 5 are relatives of the petitioner no. 1. Respondent no. 2 is wife of petitioner no. 1. Disputes arose between them, which led to registration of the cross FIRs, being FIR no. 7/2013 and FIR No. 8/2013 under Sections 323/354/34 IPC, both registered at Police Station Sunlight Colony, New Delhi. It is submitted that petitioner no. 1and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre vide Settlement Agreement dated 5[th] July, 2014, copy whereof has been placed on record. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been

identified by SI Shah Faisal Khan, P.S. Sunlight Colony. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 8/2013 under Sections 323/354/34 IPC registered at Police Station Sunlight Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating

therefrom against any of the petitioners, are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
