This is an application filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant ofanticipatorybailincaseFIRNo.240/2016,underSections420/467/468/471 IPC registered at Police Station-Chittranjan Park.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is

an innocent person having no nexus with the FIR No.240/2016, underSections 420/467/468/471 IPC registered at Police Station-Chittranjan Park.Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is apprehending his arrestin the above case. He has further submitted that the allegations allegedagainst the petitioner is false. He has further submitted that there is no

evidence qua against the present petitioner. He has further submitted that thepetitioner is ready to join investigation whenever and wherever required andprays that the petitioner be granted anticipatory bail.

Learned APP for State has vehemently opposed the application andhas submitted that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required asthe other co-accused who have been arrested have made disclosurestatement regarding the role of the petitioner and that they are operating agang to withdraw money by processing fake cheques.

The investigation of the case is at initial stage. Accordingly, I do notfind it fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Consequently, thepresent bail application is dismissed.

The present petition is disposed of accordingly.
