It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their

disputes amicably before the Delhi High Court Mediation and ConciliationCentre on 14[th]December, 2016 vide Settlement Agreement (Annexure P-3).It is prayed that FIR No. 333/2014 under Sections 420/34 IPC registered atPolice Station Dabri be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court alongwith his counsel and submits that he has settled the matter with the petitionerof his own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. Hefurther submits that terms of the settlement have already been complied withand he has already received the entire settled amount. He further submitsthat he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioner andrespondent no. 2 before the Mediation Centre voluntarily, no fruitfulpurpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 333/2014 under Sections420/34 IPC registered at Police Station Dabri and the consequentproceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.Dasti.
