Respondent no.2-Ms. Alam Parveen is present in Court along with hercounsel and has been identified by SI Rakesh Kumar of police stationJafrabad. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the subject matterinvolved in the FIR with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and withoutany undue force, pressure or coercion.Petitioner no.1 has paid `1 lac to therespondent no.2 today in Court vide demand draft, photocopy whereof hasbeen placed on record.Respondent no. 2 submits that she has alreadywithdrawn all other proceedings initiated by her against the petitioner no.1and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 8.Respondent no. 2 has noobjection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1and respondent no.2 voluntarily, FIR No. 316/2011 under Sections498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act registered atpolice station Jafrabad and the consequent proceedings emanating therefromare quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
