O R R%01.03.2017

It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 have settledtheir disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts,Delhi on 12[th]January, 2016 and started living together. Petitioner nos. 2 to5 are relatives of petitioner no. 1. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court andhas been identified by ASI Sukram Pal, P.S. Jafrabad. She submits that shehas resolved the differences with her husband and is living with him for thelast one year. She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR anyfurther and same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that husband and wife have resolved their

differences and have started living together, in my view, no fruitful purposewould be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, inthe interest of justice, FIR No. 704/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPCand Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at PoliceStation Jafrabad, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
