This is petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIRNo.380/2016, under Sections 354/354-D/506/509 IPC of Police Station-Welcome, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom.

Counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner and therespondent No.2 are neighbours and due to some misunderstanding arisenbetween the parties, quarrel had taken place. He further submits that due tothe misunderstanding, the respondent No.2 got registered FIR No.380/2016,under Sections 354/354-D/506/509 IPC of Police Station-Welcome, Delhi.Counsel further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the nearrelatives and the friends intervened and the matter has been amicably settledbetween the parties and the petitioner has filed an affidavit dated 19.09.2017to this extent. He further submits that nothing remains to be adjudicated

further between the parties and submits that the FIR in question is coming ashurdle in the way of the present petitioner. He further submits that thepetitioner and the respondent No.2 want to lead peaceful life in near futureand since all disputes have been settled between them, the FIR in questionand all proceedings arising therefrom may be quashed.

The respondent No.2/complainant, Ms.Aruna is present in Courttoday and has been identified by the Investigating Officer SI Ombir Singh.The respondent No.2/complainant also admits that the matter has beenamicably settled with the petitioner and she has no claim or grievance leftagainst the petitioner. She further submits that the settlement/compromisehas taken place voluntarily, without any force, pressure or coercion. Shefurther submits that she has no objection if the FIR in question is quashed.

Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, since the matterhas been amicably settled between the parties who are stated to beneighbours and nothing remains to be adjudicated further between them, topromote peace in the neighbourhood and to have peace in the personal lifeof the parties, I deem it appropriate to quash the FIR and all its subsequentproceedings. Consequently, FIR No.380/2016, under Sections 354/354-D/506/509 IPC of Police Station-Welcome, Delhi and all proceedingsarising therefrom are hereby quashed.

The present petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
