Respondent no. 2 Ms. Sunita is present in Court and has beenidentified by SI Raj Kumar of Police Station K.M. Pur. Respondent no.2submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no. 1 before theMediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 2[nd]July, 2016 of her ownfree will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion; therefore, FIRNo. 142/2012 under Sections 498-A/34 IPC registered at Police StationK.M. Pur on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed.Shefurther submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already beendissolved by decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family

Court, South-East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 18[th]May, 2017.Petitioner no. 1 has paid `2,50,000/- to the respondent no. 2 vide demanddraft, photocopy has been placed on record. Respondent no. 2 submits thatentire settled amount stands paid with this payment.Respondent no. 2further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further againstthe petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 5 and thesame may be quashed.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case as detailedabove more particularly, the fact that marriage between the petitioner no.1and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved, in the interest of justice,FIR No. 142/2012 under Sections 498-A/34 IPC registered at Police StationK.M. Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
