CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R R%02.11.2017

Respondent no. 2 Ms. Meenakshi is present in Court and has beenidentified by SI Gajender Singh of Police Station CWC Malviya Nagar.Respondent no. 2 says that she is living with petitioner no. 1 after resolvingtheir differences with him since June, 2017. She further says that FIR No.33/2010 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police StationCrime (Women) Cell may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that husband (petitioner no. 1) and wife (respondent

no. 2) have started living together after resolving their differences, in myview, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings

pending.Accordingly, in the interest of justice FIR No. 33/2010 underSections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Crime (Women) Celland the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
