This is petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIRNo.223/2013, under Sections 323/354 IPC, registered at Police Station-Sagarpur, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner, Mr.Ankur

Kaushik and the respondent No.2/complainant, Ms.Ruchi Gaur are relatives.He has submitted that due to some misunderstanding quarrel had takenplace between them, resultantly, the complainant lodged FIR No.223/2013,under Sections 323/354 IPC at Police Station-Sagarpur, Delhi. He hasfurther submitted that after registration of the FIR qua against the petitioner,the relatives and the friends intervened and the matter has been settledbetween the parties vide settlement deed dated 1[st]February, 2016. Learnedcounsel for the petitioner further submits that all disputes have been

amicably settled between the parties and nothing remains to be adjudicatedupon further and submits that the FIR in question is coming as hurdle in theway of the present petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner and therespondent No.2 want to lead peaceful life in near future and since alldisputes have been settled between them, the FIR in question and allproceedings arising therefrom may be quashed.

The respondent No.2/complainant Ms.Ruchi Gaur is present in Courttoday and has been identified by the Investigating Officer SI Veer Singh,PS-Sagarpur, Delhi. The respondent No.2/complainant also admits that thematter has been amicably settled with the petitioner and she has no claim orgrievanceleftagainstthepetitioner.Shefurthersubmitsthatthesettlement/compromise has taken place voluntarily, without any force,pressure or coercion. She further submits that she has no objection if the FIRin question is quashed.

Looking into the above facts and circumstances, since the parties arestated to be relatives and the matter has been amicably settled between themand nothing remains to be adjudicated further, to meet the ends of justice, Ideem it appropriate to quash the FIR No.223/2013, under Sections 323/354IPC, registered at Police Station-Sagarpur, Delhi, and all proceedingsemanating therefrom.

The present petition is disposed of accordingly. All pending

application(s) (if any) also stand disposed of.

Copy of the order be given dasti.
