Respondent no. 2 Smt. Santosh is present in the Court and has been
identified by SI Rahul Kumar of Police Station Kalkaji. It is submitted thatpetitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours and known to each other forthe last 20 years.It is further submitted that matter has been settledamicably between the petitioners and respondent no. 2; therefore, FIRNo.183/2016 under Sections 323/354/509 IPC registered at Police StationKalkaji on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Respondentno. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her ownfree will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the
Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 3[rd]July, 2017. She furthersubmits that she has received the entire settled amount and is not willing topursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case as detailedabove, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 183/2016 under Sections323/354/509 IPC registered at Police Station Kalkaji and the consequentproceedings emanating thereform are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
