This petition seeks quashing of FIR No. 662/2015, P.S. MayurVihar pursuant to settlement between the parties which has resultedin divorce by consent between the parties vide order dated02.07.2016 which itself has recorded that respondent No. 2 Ms.MeenakshiSolanki @Minniwould withdraw her complaint.Respondent No. 2 is present in the Court today.She has beenidentified by Mr. Imran Khan, the learned counsel for the petitionerand S.I. Dheer Singh, P.S. Mayur Vihar. Photocopy of her IdentifyCard has been signed by her and has been taken on record. Ms.Meenakshi Solanki confirms that she has received the remaining
amount of Rs.1,50,000/- in cash. She states that she does not wish topursueany proceeding emanating from FIR No. 662/2015, P.S.Mayur Vihar.
In the circumstances, the FIR No. 662/2015, P.S. Mayur Vihar,Phase-1 under Section 498-A/406/34 IPC and other proceedingsemanating from the aforesaid FIR are hereby quashed.
The petition is allowed in the above terms.
