The petitioner has been given interim protection and he stated to havejoined investigation and participating in the same. In the circumstances, theinterim order is confirmed.

It is directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner in FIR No.96/2017, U/S 307/452/506/34 IPC & u/S 25/27/54 & 59 of Arms Act, P.S.I.P. Estate, he be released on bail on his furnishing personal bond in thesum of Rs.20,000/- with surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of theArresting/Investigating Officer, subject to the following conditions:

(i)The petitioner shall continue to participate in the investigation as andwhen he is so intimated by the Investigating Officer;when he is so intimated by the Investigating Officer;

(ii)he shall make no attempt, directly or indirectly, to contact thecomplainant or his relatives or close associates;complainant or his relatives or close associates;

(iii)he will provide his mobile telephone number and email address to thepolice and his mobile telephone number shall be kept operational atall times, so that the police could contact him;police and his mobile telephone number shall be kept operational atall times, so that the police could contact him;

(iv)he shall not make any effort to evade the process of law; and

(v)in case of change of the phone number or address, the petitioner shallinform the police forthwith.inform the police forthwith.

Any observation made in this order shall have no bearing on the

merits of the case.

The petition is disposed off.
