THE STATE (GNCT OF DELHI)..... RespondentThroughMr. Rahul Mehra, St. Counsel withMr.Jamal Akhtar, Adv.SI Ashish PS Bhajanpura.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR
O R R%26.07.2017
The petitioner has challenged the order dated 07.03.2017 passed bythe competent authority whereby the petitioner has been refused the firstspell of furlough.
The reason assigned by the competent authority is that the petitioner, while on parole, jumped the same for about 5 years from 04.12.2010 to13.07.2015.
The nominal roll also indicates that after he was re-arrested, he wasfound in possession of two mobile SIM cards which is prohibited article injail.
This Court finds no reason to differ with the opinion of the competentauthority that the concession of furlough be not given to the petitioner. The writ petition, therefore, is dismissed.
