The petitioner has sought parole for performing the last rites ofhis father who died on 24.9.2017.
This Court had asked Mr.Sanjay Lao, learned ASC to verify theassertion of the petitioner. Mr.Lao submits that the fact of death of thefather of the petitioner has been verified and has been found to be true.
Though the petitioner has availed of three weeks of furloughfrom 19.7.2017 to 10.8.2017, but considering the fact that thepetitioner has to perform the last rites of his father, this Court isinclined to release him on parole for period of fifteen days.
The petitioner is directed to be released on parole for period offifteen days, to be counted from the date of his release, on hisfurnishing bond in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- with one surety in the likeamount to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of the concerned jail.
The petitioner shall, however, abide by the conditions listed
below :-
a) The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities on orbefore the expiry of the said period of parole.before the expiry of the said period of parole.
b) The petitioner shall not engage himself in any unlawfulactivity.activity.
c) The petitioner would not leave, under any circumstance, theNational Capital Region of Delhi, without intimating theofficer-in-charge of the concerned police station.National Capital Region of Delhi, without intimating theofficer-in-charge of the concerned police station.

In case, the petitioner flouts any one of the conditions, anapplication could be moved by the SHO for cancellation of his paroleand for taking of coercive steps for securing his attendance.
With these observations, the petition is disposed of.
The order be communicated to the Superintendent of theconcerned jail for compliance and record.
