The petitioner has sought protection from the police because heapprehends disturbance at the youth centre. It has been submitted that oneSmt.Indira Mayaram has been threatening to dispossess him from the officeat Jawahar Lal Nehru Youth Centre, Delhi.

The status report has been filed by Ms.Nandita Rao, learned ASCwhich is taken on record.

The status report reveals that on the asking of the petitioner, an

arrangement has been made whereby patrolling staff, beat staff and Divisionofficer have been instructed to keep close watch of the area so as to ensurethat no one takes law into his own hands.

The petitioner has also been provided with the mobile telephonenumber of the SHO of the concerned police station with an assurance thatwhenever any distress call would be made by the petitioner, the same wouldbe responded promptly.The mobile telephone numbers of other policeofficers including the beat staff will also be provided to the petitioner for theneedful.

In view of the action already taken by the respondent/police and the

assurance given by the officer incharge of the concerned police station ofproviding all protection to the petitioner, no further order need be passed.The petition is disposed of.
