In terms of proceedings dated 15.11.2017, the sum of Rs. 1,50,000/- is reported to have been deposited in the Registry vide demand draft no. 966127 dated 15.11.2017 in the name of Mr. Umesh, the complainant. The said amount is allowed to be released to the complainant on the submission of proof of identity before the Registrar concerned. On behalf of the petitioner time is sought to make the balance payment. Vide proceedings dated 15.11.2017, the petitioner was directed to make the payment of balance amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- through demand draft by the dated 04.12.2017.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there was typographical error in the proceedings dated 15.11.2017 mentioning the balance as Rs. 2,50,000/- which ought to be read as Rs.2,00,000/-

as observed vide order dated 24.08.2017. The said submission is accepted, and the amount of Rs.2,50,000/- in proceeding dated 15.11.2017 is accepted to be read as Rs.2,00,000/-. During the course of the proceedings the learned counsel for the petitioner has produced demand draft no. 966149 dated 04.12.2017 for sum of Rs.1,00,000/- drawn on Kotak Mahindra Bank, New Delhi which has since been handed over to the complainant and the copy of the same is taken up. Further time is sought on behalf of the petitioner to make the balance payment of Rs. 1 lac which be paid through demand draft by 02.01.2018, till which date interim protection granted vide order dated 24.5.2017 is extended.
