Respondent no.2-Mohd. Naseem is present in Court and hasbeen identified by SI Yogesh of police station Timarpur. Respondentno.2 says that he has settled the matter with petitioners of her ownfree will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion beforeDelhi Mediation Centre Tiz Hazari Courts vide Settlement /Agreement dated 3[rd]April, 2017. He further says that he has noobjection in case FIR No.29/2012 under Sections 326/34 IPCregistered at Police Station Timarpur and the consequent proceedingsemanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between thepetitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitfulpurpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent
proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
