Respondent no.2 Smt. Sandeep Kaur is present in Court alongwith her counsel and has been identified by ASI Divender of policestation Najafgarh. It is submitted that settlement has been arrived atbetween petitioners and respondent no.2 before the Mediation Centre,Dwarka Courts, Delhi on 1[st]April, 2015.
Respondent no.2 was represented before the Mediation Centrethrough her husband Sh. Rajinder Singh, who has signed themediation proceedings. Respondent no.2 confirms the fact ofsettlement arrived at with petitioners. She further says that all theterms of settlement have already been complied with and she has noobjection in case FIR No.396/2013 under sections 120-B/448 IPCregisteredatpolicestationNajafgarh,Delhiandconsequentproceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between thepetitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitfulpurpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and theconsequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneousapplication is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
