Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and hasbeen identified by ASI Aman Kumar of Crime (Women) Cell, Nanak Pura.Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitionerno.1before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 1[st]February, 2017 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressureor coercion. She further submits that her marriage with petitioner no.1 hasalready been dissolved by the decree of divorce by mutual consent by theFamily Court, Shahdara, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 21[st]November,2017. Petitioner no. 1 has paid ` 8.50 lacs to the respondent no.2 today inCourt vide two demand drafts, photocopy whereof has been placed on
record. Respondent no.2 says that entire settled amount of `22 lacs standspaid with this payment and she has no objection in case the FIR is quashedagainst the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 7.
Keeping in mind that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settledtheir disputes amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 33/2016 underSections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Crime (Women) Cell,
Nanak Pura and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom arequashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous.
