Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. LearnedStanding Counsel also accepts notice for respondent no.2.

It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled theirdisputes amicably; therefore, FIR No. 487/2015 under Section 135 of theIndian Electricity Act (Amend.), 2003 registered at police station Mehrauliand consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.It isfurther admitted that the settled amount has already been received byrespondent no. 2. Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 says that respondent

no. 2 has no objection in case aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedingsemanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner andrespondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would beserved to keep the criminal proceedings pending.Accordingly, in theinterest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanatingtherefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
