Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled all her disputesamicably with the petitioner of her own free will and without anyundue force, pressure, or coercion and, therefore, FIR No.290/2017under Section 354D IPC registered at police station SafdarjungEnclave and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, maybe quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between thepetitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitfulpurpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.Accordingly, in the interest of justice, the aforesaid FIR and
consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.Petition is disposed of in the above terms.Miscellaneousapplication is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
