Notice.Learned APPaccepts noticeforrespondent no. 1.

Respondent no.2-Ms. Nisha Khatoon is present in Court along with hercounsel and accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Ompal Singh ofpolice station Khajuri Khas.

Respondent no. 2 (wife) says that she has settled the matter with

petitioner no. 1 (husband) before the Delhi Mediation Centre, KarkardoomaCourts, Delhi on 3[rd]April, 2013 of her own free will and without any undueforce, pressure or coercion. Since then, she is living with petitioner no. 1.

Respondent no. 2 further says that she has no objection in case FIR No.70/2010 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of the DowryProhibition Act, 1961 registered at Police Station Khajuri Khas on thecomplaint of respondent no. 2 and the consequent proceedings emanatingtherefrom are quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is,petitioner nos. 2 and 3.

Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living togetherafter resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would beserved to keep them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, inthe interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedingsemanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
