Notice.Learned APPaccepts noticeforrespondent no. 1.
Respondent no.2Ms. Vanita Khera is present in Court along with hercounsel and accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Amit Kumar ofpolice station Anand Vihar.
Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with thepetitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure orcoercion.Petitioners have compensated respondent no. 2 by paying₹50,000/- towards mental pain and agony suffered by her. Respondent no. 2
says that she has no objection in case FIR No. 465/2016 under Sections387/120-B/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Anand Vihar andconsequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.Affidavit ofrespondent no. 2 to this effect is also on record at pages 24-26.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners andrespondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would beserved to keep the criminal proceedings pending.Accordingly, in theinterest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanatingtherefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
