Notice to the respondent no.2 could not be issued as PF was not filed.

However, respondent no.2 has entered appearance through her counsel, whoaccepts notice. She has been identified by SI Sonu Ram of police stationAman Vihar.

Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with thepetitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or

coercion. Her marriage with petitioner no. 1 has already been dissolved by adecree of divorce by mutual consent dated 08.03.2017 passed by thePrincipal Judge, North-West Family Courts, Rohini, Delhi.Respondent no.2 says that she has no objection in case FIR and the consequent proceedingsemanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner no. 1 and hisrelatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 6.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners andrespondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would beserved to keep the criminal proceedings pending.Accordingly, in theinterest of justice, FIR no. 1151/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPCregistered at Police Station Aman Vihar and the consequent proceedingsemanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
