Notice.Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.Respondent no.2-Ms. Isha Kapoor is present in Court along with hercounsel and accepts notice.She has been identified by SI Ravi ofpolice station Seemapuri.
Petitioner no.2 is the mother and petitioner no.3 is aunt ofpetitioner no.1. Respondent no.2 is sister-in-law of petitioner no.1. Aquarrel took place on some trivial issue which led to registration ofFIR No.247/2016 under Sections 323/341/354/354A/506/34 IPCregistered at police station Seemapuri on the complaint of respondentno.2.
Respondent no.2 says that she has settled the matter withpetitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressureorcoercionvideSettlement-cum-CompromiseDeeddated1[st]September, 2018. She further submits that in view of the settlement,she has no objection in case aforesaid FIR, which is at investigationstage, is quashed against the petitioners.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between thepetitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitfulpurpose would be served in keeping the FIR pending. Accordingly,aforesaid FIR is quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneousapplications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
