1.The present appeal has been filed by the appellant/Air PassengersAssociation of India against the judgment dated 20.12.2017 passed inLPA 19/2018Page 1 of 2
W.P(C) No.9820/2017 entitled “Interglobe Aviation Limited & Anr. Vs.Union of India & Anr.” where admittedly, they were not parties.2.In such circumstances, we have asked learned counsel for theappellant to address us on the maintainability of the present appeal and thelocus standi of the appellant to file the appeal. She submits that she hasinstructions to withdraw the present appeal but seeks liberty to file anapplication for seeking impleadment in LPA No.16/2018, filed by thepetitioner in W.P.(C) No.9820/2017 and listed before us at Sr. No.30 intoday’s cause list.
3.We decline to grant any such permission to the appellant when it wasnot party before the learned Single Judge in W.P.(C) No.9820/2017. Thelis lies only between those parties who were impleaded in W.P.(C)No.9820/2017. In our opinion, the appellant herein is rank outsider. Theprayer made for permission to move an application for impleadment in LPANo.16/2018 is declined.
4.The present appeal is disposed of as not pressed, along with thepending applications.
