Notice. On an advance copy of the petition having been servedSh. Mahajan, learned Additional Standing Counsel has put in hisappearance.
The petitioner seeks parole for two days to enable him toappear in Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and BehaviourModification under the aegis of Guru Jambheshwar University ofScience and Technology, Hisar.Learned counsel for the petitionersubmits that the examination centre is in Sirsa (Haryana). He furthersubmits that the petitioner had filed an application on 26.06.2018
before Jail Superintendent, Jail No.2, Tihar Jail, New Delhi but hisapplication is still pending and has not been disposed of.
Learned Additional Standing counsel sought time to verify andafter passover learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that theconcerned Police Officer has verified from the Controller ofExamination of the said university at Hisar that the petitioner has toappear in the said examination on 30.06.2018 at Sirsa (Haryana).
In the circumstances, the prayer of the petitioner to appear inthe said examination is allowed. The petitioner be released on paroletoday itself to enable him to appear in the examination at the givencentre at Sirsa.He shall surrender to the jail authorities on01.07.2018.The release of the petitioner shall be subject to thecondition of the petitioner furnishing personal bond in the sum ofRs.50,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction ofthe Jail Superintendent.
The petition is disposed of.
