After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seekspermission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to challenge orderdated 01.12.2018 before the Authority as prescribed in the Rules 40 and 49of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1960 and tofile afresh petition for grant of promotion to the petitioner on the post ofAdministrative Officer w.e.f. 2016 with all other consequential benefits.

Permission is granted with liberty as prayed for.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.

Both applications stands disposed of.
