1.Issue notice. Mr.Vinod Diwakar, Central Government Standing Counsel for the respondent No.1 and Mr.Harpreet Singh, Senior Standing Counsel for respondents No.2 to 5 accept notice.
2.The petitioner seeks directions for provisional release of goods, subject to the conditions. The goods were imported by the Bills of Entry dated 13.12.2018 and 01.01.2019. The representation/request for release of goods on provisional basis was made on several dates i.e. 10.01.2019, 17.01.2019 & 28.01.2019.
3.Learned counsel for the respondents state that the Revenue
would take due steps to pass orders expeditiously. The concerned Assistant or Deputy Commissioner, as the case may be, shall pass appropriate orders with respect to the provisional release of the goods covered by the Bills of Entry that are subject matter of the present petition, as early as possible, preferably within ten days from today. All the rights and contentions of the parties are kept open.
4.The writ petition is disposed of.
5.Copy of the order be given dasti, under the signatures of the Court Master. Court Master.
