CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE G.S.SISTANI HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE JYOTI SINGH
O R R% 08.01.2019
The members of the petitioner association along with learned counsel had appeared before the Town Vending Committee (TVC), City S.P. Zone. The Minutes of the Meeting held on 02.01.2019 have been placed on record,
concluding portion of which reads as under:
“On overall consideration of the facts placed before the TVC meeting held on 02.01.2019, the TVC of C-SPZ, North DMC has no role to play in this case. However, to consider the matter in terms of the direction of the Lt. Governor, Delhi dated 25.07.2018 and the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi dated 04.12.2018, the matter is remitted to TVC of Central Zone of South DMC for taking further necessary action.”
Mr. Mishra submits that the vendors were last vending from Subash Marg, although the stand of the respondent is that in the year 2010, they were shifted to Velodrome Road, Delhi. The TVC of the Central Zone would consider the applications of the members of the petitioner association, where they seek re-allocation back to Subhash Marg and not to any other place. The members of the petitioner association will appear before the TVC Central Zone. The members of the petitioner association in W.P.(C). 6585/2018 will also appear before the TVC Central Zone. The meeting will be fixed in the month of January itself and the time and date will be communicated to the petitioners.
List on 18.02.2019.
