This is petition seeking extension of parole period of the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner is constructing his house in his native village.
Learned ASC opposes the prayer for extension of parole on the ground that the wife of the petitioner, who is pensioner and is residing with his son Mahesh, can also supervise the construction work.
The petitioner is on parole since 05.08.2019. He was earlier released on parole for period of two weeks which was extended for further period of three weeks. No grounds are made out for granting further extension.
Learned counsel for the petitioner however prays that three days time may be given to the petitioner so that he may wind up his work and surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent.
In view of the above submission, the parole of the petitioner is extended on the same terms and conditions, till 23.09.2019. On the said date, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent.
The petition stands disposed of.
