W.P.(CRL) 165/2019
The petitioner had applied to Government of NCT of Delhi for grant of parole on an urgent basis to attend to his ailing son who is stated to be suffering from abdominal bleeding. His address and the factum of the medical condition of the son have been verified. The petitioner’s overall conduct is stated to be unsatisfactory. The last parole was given to him in 2016. However, for more than two years, his conduct is otherwise satisfactory.
In the circumstances, in view of the exigency apropos his minor son,
the petitioner is granted parole for period of four weeks on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the jail superintendent concerned and subject to the following conditions and further subject to that the petitioner shall be released only if there is no constraint apropos any other case.
(1) The petitioner shall report to the SHO of the concerned Police Station once week during the period of parole. once week during the period of parole.
(2) He shall furnish his telephone number to the said SHO which the petitioner shall keep operational at all times petitioner shall keep operational at all times
(3) She shall not leave the territory of NCT of Delhi.
(4) The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities at the expiry of the period of parole. of the period of parole.
With the above directions the writ petition is disposed off.
