Learned counsel for the appellant submits that Section 24 ofThe Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 andthe judgment of the Division Bench of this Court in Mukesh Gupta vs.Union of India, (2018) 1 SLR 205 lays down that no disqualificationwould be attached to the conviction of an offence, when the offence isalleged to have been committed when the person was juvenile. Hefurther submits that his instructions are that the relevant records havealready been destroyed.
In view of the above, he seeks leave to withdraw the appeal.The appeal is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
