1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that only one witness has been partly examined by the prosecution so far and the petitioner has been in judicial custody for the last almost two years.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that he is not pressing the bail application, at this stage, and prayed that the Trial Court may be directed to expedite the proceedings.

3. Learned APP for the State submitted at bar that the prosecution shall examine all material witnesses within eight months.

4. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings in the matter. The prosecution shall examine all the material witnesses within eight months, as stated by the learned APP for the State at bar.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the aforesaid directions, he may be allowed to withdraw the present bail application. Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed as

withdrawn.
