SANJEEV KUMAR
..... Petitioner
Through: Mr. Rajiv Agarwal, Adv. with Mr. N. Bhushan, Ms Meghna De, Advs.
versus
NORTH DELHI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION..... Respondent Through: Ms. Namrata Mukim, Adv. with Ms. Hreeshika Bhargav, Adv. for R-1.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAJMI WAZIRI O R R% 29.01.2020
According to the learned counsel for the respondent there is delay of 12 years in raising the industrial dispute, whereas, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it has only been 8 years.
Be that as it may, that itself is long time to raise an industrial dispute. The petitioner admittedly was waiting for the outcome of dispute raised by person similarly placed. In other words, he was waiting to ride piggy bank on their success. There is no such concept in law.
Since the petition is barred by limitation, it is accordingly dismissed.
