1. The principal grievance of the petitioner is that, even though he approached respondent no.1 for conversion of her interest in the subject property from leasehold to freehold as far as back as on 17.11.2016, there has been no movement in the matter.

2. The record shows that the subject property has changed hands several times. several times.

3. The petitioner claims that, presently, she is the owner of the subject property. subject property.

4. Issue notice. Ms. Takiar accepts notice on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 2, while Ms. Tyagi accepts notice on behalf of respondent no.3. nos.1 and 2, while Ms. Tyagi accepts notice on behalf of respondent no.3.

Respondent nos.1 and 2 is directed to decide the petitioner’s

application for conversion of her interest in the subject property from leasehold to freehold at the earliest, though not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

6. Respondent no.3 will furnish the information sought by respondent nos.1 and 2 vide communication dated 21.3.2017, copy of which, has been appended on pages 61/62 of the paper book.

7. Respondent no.3 will furnish the information available with it within ten days of receipt of copy of the order.

8. Respondent nos.1 and 2 will accord personal hearing to the

petitioner. In case further documents are required, the petitioner will furnish the same, in case the documents are in her possession.

9. The writ petition is, accordingly, closed.

10. List the matter for compliance on 30.4.2020.
