This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for direction to the respondent no. 1 to admit Mr. Anil Gupta who has been found to be suffering from Covid-19, in hospital having facility to treat the patients suffering from this virus.
The petitioner urges that the patient is presently admitted in Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute (Hospital), Paschim Vihar, Delhi,
however, the said hospital is not equipped with the facilities required to treat patients suffering from the said virus.
The learned counsel for the respondent no. 1, who appears on advance notice, submits that the patient can be shifted to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (GTB Hospital) at Dilshad Garden where, if the medical condition of the patient so requires, he shall be admitted and administered all the medical care.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the patient does require admission as presently he is on ventilator. Arrangement for immediate shifting of the patient from Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute (Hospital) to the GTB Hospital would be made by the petitioner.
Recording the above submission of the respondent no 1 and binding the respondent no. 1there to, the present petition is disposed of.
