1.The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of theConstitution of India, seeking issuance of directions to the respondents no. 1to 4 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner in respect of thethreat received by the petitioner from respondents no. 5 to 7.

2.Vide order dated 05[th]June, 2024, Notice was issued in the presentpetition and interim protection was granted to the petitioner.

3.Status Report has been handed over in the court and the copy of thesame is taken on record.

4.The Status Report notes that FIR No. 123/2024 dated 22th April, 2024under Sections 323/341/427/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 has beenregistered at PS Shaheen Bagh on the complaint of the petitioner against the

respondents and their family members.

5.Pursuant to the order passed by this court on 05[th]June, 2024, thepetitioner has been provided with the mobile number of the IO at PSShaheen Bagh.

6.In view of the above, no useful purpose would be served by keepingthe present petition alive.

7.The interim order passed by this court on 05[th]June, 2024 is madeabsolute. The respondent shall continue to provide protection to thepetitioner and his property in accordance with law.

8.Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
