1.This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under

Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following reliefs:

“I. Issue writ in the nature of Certiorari or such other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby quashing the Letter dated 22.05.2023 whereby the Representation cum Request for Inclusion of her Adopted Daughter in the personal file was rejected.

II. Issue writ in the nature of Mandamus or such other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the Respondent to include the name of Petitioner’s adopted daughter in her personal file and grant consequential benefits linked thereto.”

2.After canvassing some arguments, learned counsel for the Petitioner

seeks to withdraw the present petition since the reliefs sought are in the nature of service matter and Respondent is notified under Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.

3.Accordingly, in view of L. Chandra Kumar v. Union of India and Others, (1997) 3 SCC 261 this writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the Petitioner to approach the appropriate Forum in accordance with law.
