3.Present writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of direction tothe respondents to expeditiously decide and adjudicate the application filedby the petitioner before the respondent no.1 for grant of sanction toprosecute Mr. R. B.Verma (Ex-President) & Mr. R. N. Sinha (Ex-Secretary)of Naveen Kunj CGHS Limited under Section 118(6) of the Delhi Co-Operative Societies Act, 2003.

4.Learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite passage of morethan eight years since the first complaint was filed by the petitioner before

the respondent no.1, the inquiry proceedings are still pending and have notbeen disposed of by the respondents.

5.Learnedcounselfortherespondent-RegistrarofCo-operativeSocieties, who appears on advance notice, states that the inquiry proceedingsshall be completed as expeditiously as possible.

6.Keeping in view the limited relief sought in the present writ petition,the same is disposed of with direction to the Registrar of Co-operativeSocieties to decide the petitioner’s application dated 20[th]December, 2022 inaccordance with law as expeditiously as possible. This Court clarifies that ithas not commented either on the merits of the controversy or on themaintainability of the application filed by the petitioner.The rights andcontentions of all the parties are left open.
